Robert A Phillips,

STOUGHTON - Robert A. Phillips, age 63, of Stoughton, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, at St. Mary’s Hospital after a brief illness. He was born on Sept. 6, 1947, the son of Carl A. and Bernice (Jensen) Phillips. Robert was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed farming in the Stoughton area. Robert was also a member of First Lutheran Church. He is survived by two sisters, Janice Notbohm and Clarice (Charles) Lyke; nieces, Candice (Dan) Allard and Carla (Frank) Gomez; nephews, Alan (Heather) Notbohm and Christopher (April) Lyke; and 10 great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 310 E. Washington St., Stoughton, at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, with the Rev. Richard Halom presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 5 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
