Donald Paul Dansberry

MADISON- Donald P. Dansberry, age 76, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011. He was born on May 30, 1934, in La Crosse, the son of Milton and Irene (Karl) Dansberry. Don served in the U.S. Navy. He was an avid collector of Jim Beam decanters and a long-time member of the Badger Jim Beam Club. Don loved big band music and was a huge Detroit Tigers fan. He was a loyal and loving husband who will be greatly missed. Don is survived by his wife, Jeanette; children, Deborah Nelson of Madison, Jim Price of Portola Valley, Calif., Eugene (Theresa) Nelson of Seattle, Wash., and Jennifer Gettelman of Pittsburgh, Penn.; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and first wife, JoAnne. Family services will be held at a later date. Family services will be held at a later date.
