Joan Patricia McConley

MADISON-Joan P. McConley, age 81, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2011. She was born on Nov. 16, 1929, in Denver, Colo. Joan married Don McConley on Sept. 12, 1953, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Madison. She worked for the U. S. Department of Agriculture for 30 years. Joan enjoyed cross stitch, leaving behind a treasure of her work for her family and friends to enjoy. She will be remembered as a classy woman with a great sense of humor and an extraordinary love for her family and friends. Joan is survived by her husband, Donald; two daughters, Colleen McConley and her children, Grant and Perry Dettmering, and Tracy (Matt) Sundell and their children, Joseph and Linde Sundell.
