Obituary

MADISON - Jeremiah “Jeremy” Kunz, age 36, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, at his home following a lifelong battle with addictions. He was born on May 27, 1975, in Milwaukee, the son of Paul and Diane Kunz. Jeremy graduated from Lakeside Lutheran High School in 1993. Jeremy enjoyed BMX (bicycle motorcross), riding his motorcycle, playing guitar and camping, especially at Devil’s Lake. In addition to living in the Madison area, he had also lived in Boulder, Colo. and Santa Cruz, Calif. Jeremy is survived by his parents, Paul and Diane Kunz of Sun Prairie; special friend, Kristy Fazer of Madison; a sister, Rebecca (Joe) Gauthier of Two Rivers; brothers, Thaddeus Kunz (Kelly) of Sun Prairie and Joshua Kunz (Jennie) of Harmony Grove; nieces, Taylor and Autumn Kunz; and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Melanie Kunz; a nephew, Paul Andrew Kunz; and a niece, Sydney Cheyenne Kunz. Funeral services will be held at LORD OF LOVE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 105 Paradise Circle, Deforest, at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011, with Pastor Jerry Ewings presiding. Burial will be at the Mishicot Public Cemetery in Mishicot on Friday, Aug.26, 2011, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. A special thank you to Hope Haven and the Chris Farley House, in Madison, for everything you have done for Jeremy and his family. Cemetery: Burial will be at the Mishicot Public Cemetery in Mishicot on Friday, Aug.26, 2011, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. Funeral services will be held at LORD OF LOVE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 105 Paradise Circle, Deforest, at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011, with Pastor Jerry Ewings presiding.
