Betty McMahon

MADISON-Betty B. McMahon, age 88, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, at Karmenta Nursing Home. She was born on Dec. 20, 1922, in Portage, the daughter of Raymond and Bessie (Bonger) Kleist. Betty married Eugene McMahon. She was an active member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. Betty enjoyed playing bingo and slots, watching NASCAR racing, and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her sons, Robert (Jenny) McMahon, and Leo (Sharon) McMahon; grandchildren, Tim, Tom, Terry, Shannon and Tamra; and many friends. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene McMahon; her parents; and a son, David McMahon. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, with the Rev. Pat Siegler presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Pardeeville Cemetery, at 2 p.m. on Friday.
