Marchant Family This is a very sad time and really wish we could be there on Sunday to share his life. Good stories of dad, brother, friend seem to make the difficult times a little easier. We are out of town on a family vacation and want you to know that we are there in spirit. I have shared the news of Dave’s passing with my high school friends and all have mentioned what a truly great guy he was. I wanted to share a couple of photos of some favorite memorable times with Dave: The est 1976 picture of Dave, Scott Ecker, Cal Burnton and I was taken right after the upstart teenagers won a Gold Tournament at Mystery Hills Golf Course. Dave and Scott were not expected to challenge the more seasoned men golfers of Brown County, but they won it in suspenseful fashion in extra holes. The other picture taken in May/June of 1978 was of a fishing trip to Canada with Dave and Mark Moran a few days after graduating college. We caught lots of fish, told a lot of stories and it was so cold that it snowed one day. Dave was the fishing guide because he basically knew more than anybody else! Condolences from the Miskella Family.

Hi Brian & Heather I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your brother, David. I can't begin to imagine what the pain and sorrow of losing a brother is like. Please accept my and Darlene’s sincere condolences. I wish we could be there on Sunday to share some good stories of growing up and spending time at your parents’ house, but I’m working this weekend. Please take care and also give our sincere condolences to you Mom and Dad and the rest of the family. Your friend for ever Smitty

Dear Marchant Family, I was surprised and saddened to hear of Dave's passing. We know what it is like to lose a brother and hope you will all serve as a comfort to each other by sharing the good times you had while he was here. It is difficult for me to picture the kids I used to babysit on Bomier as having become adults, but my folks would fill me in over the years. Dave certainly grew up to be a fine family man. I am sure you will remember him well for many things he has been to you. I will remember him for that big smile that lit his face---I could never tell if he was just a happy guy or if he was smiling because he had put something over on the babysitter! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
