Obituary

MADISON-Ryan James Scott, age 36, passed away from natural causes on Wednesday, July 20, 2011. He will be greeted in Heaven by his parents, Lloyd and Judy Scott. Ryan was born on May 25, 1975 and will always be remembered as a kind, softhearted, loving person, who cared deeply for his family. He adored his niece, Rachel, who lovingly referred to him as her “Uncle Ry ry” and “best buddy.” Ryan would have a twinkle in his eye everytime he mentioned her name. In addition to his niece, Rachel Van Buren, Ryan is survived by his sister, Kim Van Buren; brother-in-law, Fred Van Buren; and special aunt, Ginny Cardarella, who always made sure he felt loved and safe in the world. He is further survived by many relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2450 Atwood Ave., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 25, 2011, with Father Francis Schmidt presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Ryan was my brother and best friend. Though he lived through many struggles and hardships, he always worried about me first. Never did we leave a conversation without an “I love you” or a hug. He was the best little brother a girl could ask for. “Ryan, how can I ever have a day without hearing your voice, seeing your warm smile or sweet face? Now you are finally free and out of pain. I will love you forever.” Kimmy Visitation will be at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Funeral services will be held at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2450 Atwood Ave., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 25, 2011, with Father Francis Schmidt presiding.

Kim you have suffered so much loss and so early in life. I couldnt believe it when Fred told me the news and it just breaks my heart. There never seems to be the right words to say except that I am so sorry. I know you believe in God and the comfort of knowing Ryan is now in his arms and in the arms of your Parents. My thoughts and prayers are with you and family, may God bless. Love Janice
