Georgina Zeller

MADISON-Georgina Zeller, age 89, of Slinger, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2011. She was born on May 30, 1922, in Madison, the daughter of Joseph and Marie (Licali) Brashi. She married Edwin Zeller on Oct. 11, 1941, in Madison. Georgina was a clerk with the state of Wisconsin for 20 years, retiring in 1983. She enjoyed traveling, knitting, music, and crafting. Georgina is survived by her two children, Betty (Jerry) Stauffer of Bangor, Calif. and Jim (Mary) Zeller of Hartford; grandchildren, Craig (Tricia) Zeller, Elizabeth (Mike) Croasdaile, and Alison (Nick) Anger; great-grandchildren, Zackary and Tanner Zeller, Jonathan, Jillian and Jameson Croasdaile; sister, Annie (Charles) Golding of Cambridge; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin; her parents; four sisters, Josephine, Kate, Sarah, and Elizabeth; and three brothers, Dominic, John and Vito. Funeral services will be held at MONONA UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 606 Nichols Road, Monona, at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 11, 2011, with the Rev. David Byers-Dent presiding. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Monday. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
