Obituary
MADISON-Jack Steven Mulich, age 59, of Madison, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at home. He was born on June 7, 1952, in San Louis Obispo, Calif., the son of Jack and Yvonne (Putnam) Mulich. Jack graduated from Monona Grove High School in 1970, then started working for GTE (Verizon) at the age of 18, retiring in 2010. He enjoyed hunting, being outdoors, gunsmithing, watching his grandchildren play sports, working on odd jobs for his family, and was an American History enthusiast. Jack, most of all, loved spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his fiancée, Mary Braun; children, Renee (Dave) Bieri, Stephen Mulich, and Michelle (Douglas) McLain; grandchildren, Lucas, Owen, and Mason; and mother, Yvonne Mulich. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack in 2007. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2011, with the Rev. Jerry Amstutz presiding. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
