Jeannette Mary Enger

MADISON- Jeannette M. Enger, age 82, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 27, 1928, in Madison, the daughter of John and Ella (Hahn) Cunningham. Jeannette married Russell Enger on Sept. 5, 1947, in Madison. She graduated from East High School. Over the years, Jeannette worked at Ohio Medical, Cuna Supply and Manchesters. Jeannette enjoyed having family gatherings, volunteering when her daughter was in school and shopping. She is survived by her daughter, Susan L. (Tom Lottes) Enger-OBrien; three granddogs; sister, Evelyn C. Schrotz; nieces, Debra Schrotz, Julie Schrotz Sparks, Lori (Richard) Rhodes Fowler and Elaine (Kent) Cori; nephews, Michael (Claudia) Schrotz; great nieces, Jamie Sparks and Suzanne (Brandon) Goldberg; and great nephews, Colin Sparks, Jason Cori and Trevor (Michelle) Schrotz. Jeannette was preceded in death by her husband, Russell in 2008; parents; two sisters, Delores Cunningham and Jean Rhodes; brothers-in-law, Robert Schrotz and Marion Rhodes; and nephew, Jeff Rhodes. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday.
