CROSS PLAINS-Bernice K. Saeman, age 87, passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 29, 2011. She was born on June 7, 1924 in Cross Plains, the daughter of Peter and Mary (Richartz) Niesen. Bernice was united in marriage to Ken Saeman on August 27, 1946 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Cross Plains. In addition to her husband Ken of 64 years, Bernice is survived by two daughters, Mary (Jerry) Anderson and Jean (Steve) Wesolowski and four grandchildren, Bill(Meghan) Nelson, John Anderson, James and Jennifer Wesolowski. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Barbara. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. FRANCIS XAVIER CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2947 Thinnes St., Cross Plains at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 2, 2011. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at the church. Dear Ken and Family,
I am sad to hear about Bernice and sorry that I will not be able to attend the visitation or funeral. I am flying to Maryland on Friday to meet my new grandson born prematurely on June 6.
