Obituary

Tuttle, ShirleyMADISON-Shirley Tuttle was born December 28, 1921 in Centuria, Wisc. to Holger and Pearl Rasmussen. She spent her childhood in Spooner and raised her family and spent the rest of her life in Madison. Shirley loved her beautiful flower gardens, her dolls, ballroom dancing, traveling with her daughter, shopping, photography, watching re-runs of \"Everybody Loves Raymond,\" and her grandchildren. She will be remembered especially for her closets overflowing with beautiful, glittering clothes and for her creative photo scrapbooks of her family, friends, travels, and pretty things. She played violin in the Madison Symphony orchestra and won several national Arthur Murray dance competitions. Princess Shirley wasthe catalog queen whose motto was, \"Attitude is everything.\" Hers was ALWAYS positive. She is survived by her daughter, Sue (Gene) Decker from Chippewa Falls, Wisc.; sons, Tim Tuttle of Madison, and Doug (Stacy)Tuttle of Kiel; three grandsons, Troy Toske, David Toske, and Tyler Tuttle; and 5 great-grandchildren Christian, Keenan, Faith, Mitchell, andRaelyn Toske. She was preceded in death by husband and Madison dentist, Mitchell Tuttle; daughter, Mary Ann Tuttle; brother, Bud Rasmussen; and sister, Rose Johnson. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EASTFUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2011. A private graveside service will be held on July 9th at 1 pm in Greenbush, Wisc. at the Greenbush Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Coalition of Wisconsin AgingGroups. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Coalition of Wisconsin Aging Groups. Cemetery: A private graveside service will be held on July 9th at 1 pm in Greenbush, Wisc. at the Greenbush Cemetery.
