Scott, Guy J.
MADISON-Guy J. Scott, age 82, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2011. He was born on May 13, 1929 in Bloomington, the son of Lyle and Margaret (Hochhausen) Scott. He married Catherine Olson on July 20, 1957 at St. Joseph\'s Catholic Church in Rice Lake. Guy served in the U. S. Army. He was employed at American Family Insurance for 42 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Ho-Chunk and crossword puzzles. Guy is survived by his wife, Cathy; four children, Mark (Machell), Craig (Kelly), Dale, Tena (James) Hartman; four grandchildren, Kyle Scott, Sam (Samantha) Scott, Tara (Tyler) Parish, Dana Scott; four great-grandchildren, Asher, Alexis, Celeste and Olivia; sister, Virginia Cardarella; brother, Byron Scott; andnumerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Truman, Neil, Lloyd, and Reggie Scott. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2450 Atwood Avenue, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 with Monsignor Michael Hippee presiding. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Bernard Catholic Church. A special thank you to the staff at Oak Park for their care of Guy.
