Obituary

OREGON- Richard D. Schuett, age 72, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at his home. He was born on Dec. 28, 1938, in Reedsburg, the son of Alvin and Dorothy (Farber) Schuett. Richard married June Eggert on July 16, 1960 in Elmhurst, Ill. He owned and operated a sporting goods store in Reedsburg. Later, Richard and his family moved to Oregon where worked at Copps and then Hobart Sales and Service, until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and watching Nascar. Richard is survived by his wife, June; children, Susan (Steven) Van of Oregon, Kathy (Steve) Hartsock of Germantown and John (Tami) Schuett of Oregon; four grandchildren, Matthew and Jeffrey Van and Ryan and Allyson Schuett; great-granddaughter, Sophia Van; brother, Steven; sister, Sheila; brothers-in-law, Walter Bruce and John Eggert and John Dales; sisters-in-laws, Irma Eggert and Kathy Eggert; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jerome. Services will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL HOME, 1150 Park Street, Oregon, at 7 p.m., on Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Froedtert Cancer Center, at kathyscause.org or 678 N.
