Obituary
OREGON-Ralph W. Kluever, age 77, of Oregon, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at the Willow Pointe Memory Care Facility in Stoughton. Ralph was born on Dec. 27, 1933, in Madison, the son of John and Amy Kluever. Ralph graduated from Brooklyn High School in 1951. He then served three years in the armed forces. Ralph later married Rita (Madsen) and celebrated 51 years together. Ralph is survived by his wife, Rita; four children, Tim (Tina) Kluever of Ogdensburg, Todd (Jenny) Kluever of Fitchburg, Terry (Allen) Kluever of Waupun, and Trina (Dave) Pauli of Belleville; four grandchildren, Lucas Kluever, Jacob Kluever, Justin Pauli, and Garrett Pauli; a great-granddaughter; three brothers and four sisters, Virginia (Albert) Brockmann, Muriel Zwickey, David Kluever, Tom (Kathy) Kluever, Karen Denk, Sandra (William) Vance, and LeRoy (Maria) Kluever; two sisters-in-law, Gail Kluever, and Betty Kluever; several nieces and nephews; and a special sister-in-law, Sue Madsen. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Earl, Harlow, Eugene, Fred and Joe Kluever; brothers-in-law, Roger Zwickey and Terry Denk; and sisters-in-law, Lorraine Kluever and Tracie Kluever. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL HOME, 1150 Park St., Oregon, at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2011, with the Rev. Sara Thiessen presiding. Burial will follow at Prairie Mound Cemetery, with military honors. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, 630 East Washington Ave, Madison ,WI. 53703 or the Oregon Senior Center. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at HospiceCare Inc. and a very special thanks to all the caregivers at the Stoughton Willow Pointe Memory Care Center.
