Dale Clark

Clark, Dale J.COTTAGE GROVE/STOUGHTON-Dale J. Clark, age 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 27, 2011, the time and circumstances chosen by our Lord. He was born on July 7, 1918. Dale graduated from Madison East High School. He was united in marriage to Norma Rockne in September of 1942. Together they had three children, Steven, Diane and Thomas. He farmed on his family farm in Cottage Grove until 1956. Dale then worked for Cenex (now known as Landmark), delivering propane gas until he retired in 1983. He married Ann Buntrock in November of 1987. She passed away in December of 2008. He was a member of West Koshkonong Lutheran Church where he sang in the church choir. Dale was a past member of the Cottage Grove School Board, and a member of the Cottage Grove Lions Club. He enjoyed golfing, singing and playing cards. Dale is survived by his children, Steven (Karen) Clark, Diane (Gary) Schroeder, and Thomas (Kathy) Clark; grandchildren, Amy (Rick) Hruby, Michael (Lisa) Clark, Michelle (Nate) Salverson, Kevin (Kathy) Loniello, Lisa Loniello (fianc David Bohl), and Connie Clark; and great-grandchildren, Gavin, Viviana, Hailey, Dillon and Sidra. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Geah (Rinden) Clark; first wife, Norma; second wife, Ann; and five siblings, Mabel, Hamilton, Shirley, Margaret and William. Funeral services will be held at WEST KOSHKONONG LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1911 Koshkonong Rd, Stoughton, at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, June 1, 2011, with the Rev. Richard Dowling presiding. Burial will follow at West Koshkonong Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Koshkonong Lutheran Church in Dale\'s memory.Dale had a great sense of humor, lived a good life and truly looked forward to each day.
