Hilgendorf, Patricia B.PRAIRIE DU SAC-Patricia B. Hilgendorf, age 78, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2011. She was born on Feb. 9, 1933, in Roxbury, the daughter of Joseph and Valeria (Mack) Eckstein. She attended St. Norberts Grade School in Roxbury. Patricia graduated from Sauk City High School, in 1951. She married her husband of 57 years, Edward Hilgendorf on July 9, 1954, at St. Norberts Catholic Church, in Roxbury. Since her marriage she had lived in the Middleton area, and recently moved to the Prairie du Sac area. In 2004, she and Eddie celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. She was employed at West Side Dairy, Philgas, Sunnyside Seed Farms, and lastly at Sears in West Town Mall, in auditing. Patricia loved knitting, crocheting, crossword puzzles, making crafts, gambling, and watching the Packers. She is survived by her husband, Eddie;daughter, Susie (Rick) Nesvacil of Prairie du Sac; granddaughter, Jessica Flint of Praire du Sac; special great-grandchildren; Amiah Olyvia and Taylor James, sisters, Deloris Hicks of Sauk City, Vera Denu of Mazomanie, sister-in-law Sonja Eckstein of Sauk City, Virginia (Roger) Rowe of Verona, and Sharon (Stanley) Frosch of Sauk City; in-laws, Lucille Tritton, Irene Schwenn, Dorothy Miller, and Lavonne Shipley. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Jane Schwartz and Darlene Hilgendorf, brother, Lavern Eckstein; brothers-in-law, Melvin Schwartz, Norman Hicks, Roy Denu, and Duane Frosch; father and mother-in-law, Fred and Minnie Hilgendorf; sister-in-law, Anna Mae (Russell) Schwenn; and brother-in-law, Eugene Shipley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARDS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7450 University Ave., Middleton, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, with Monsignor Douglas Dushack presiding. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL HOME, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, and also at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass on Wednesday. The family would like to thank Dr. Daniel Jarzemsky for all of his care. Honey, if I had to do it all over again, Id do it with you! Cemetery: Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
