Obituary

McMillen, Bradley J. MADISON-Bradley J. McMillen, age 73, of Madison, died on Friday, May 27, 2011, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Bradley was born on April 27, 1938 in Richland County, the son of Agatha (Dobbs) and John Edward McMillen. Bradley graduated from Blue River High School in Blue River. He retired from Roadway Express, and was a proud member of the Teamsters Union Local 695, as well as American Legion Post 534. Bradley was also a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic church parish in Monona. He enjoyed music, books, politics, and anything Irish. He was a wonderful husband and father, and dedicated his life to caring and providing for his family. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jeannette McMillen of Madison; two sons, Michael (Joanna Gurstelle), of Madison, and Bradley (Janey) , of Apex, North Carolina; granddaughter, Elise; grandson, Patrick; sister, Janice Sadowski of Kenosha; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and two sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held AT IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5101 Schofield St., Monona, at noon, on Saturday, June 4, 2011. Visitation will be at the church from 10:30a.m. until the time of the Mass. The family would like to thank Dr. Al Musa and HospiceCare, Inc. for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to HospiceCare, Inc. or Immaculate Heart of Mary School. Visitation: Visitation will be at the church from 10:30a.m. until the time of the Mass.
