MADISON/RACINE - June M. Scheible, age 88, of Madison, formerly of Racine, passedaway on Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Sebring Assisted Care Residence. She was born onJune 4, 1922, in Racine, the daughter of Edward and Elovia (Lydia) Baker. Junemarried the love of her life, Dr. Frank J. Scheible, on July 17, 1943, in Racine.She worked tirelessly for her husbands medical office while raising their family.June was a volunteer at St. Catherines High School, Racine Medical Auxiliary andwas a lifetime member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church. Spending time with herfamily was her passion. She enjoyed gardening, golfing, bowling, and playing bridge.The family spent many memorable summer vacations in Door County. Additionally, sheand Frank enjoyed world travel. June is survived by her sons, Dr. Robert (Elizabeth)Scheible of St. Louis, Mo.,James (Cheryl) Scheible of Eden Prairie, Minn., Steven (Pamela) Scheibleof Eau Claire, a daughter, Teresa (Daniel) Fass of Middleton; 11grandchildren, Ann Marie Scheible (Dennis) Luebbers, Matthew Scheible, MaryKatherine Scheible, Brian (Torrey) Scheible, Kevin Scheible, KyleScheible, Mark Scheible, Lindsey (Brian) Dahlke, Jacob Scheible (MeganAnderson), Nicholas Fass and Lucas Fass; two great-grandchildren, CarsonDahlke and Payton Scheible; two sisters, Doris (Arnold) Volz of Racine andBetty Taylor of Vienna, Va.., and many nieces and nephews. She waspreceded in death by her parents; her husband; step-father, Albert Jameson; threebrothers, Robert, Howard and Thomas; and a sister, Ruby Sandor. Funeralservices will be held at HOLY COMMUNION LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2000 W. 6th St., Racine, at11 a.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2011. Visitation will be at thechurch from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. Entombmentwill be at West Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may bemade to the Alzheimers Association of Wisconsin or to Racine St.Catherines High School. The family would like to thank HospiceCare andSebring for their loving care given to June these past years.

Entombment will be at West Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation:
