He loved telling jokes and anyone who met him left with a smile. He was a friend to all.

He is survived by his wife, Norma; sons, Dan (Beth) and Don (Lori); grandchildren, Christina, Jacob (Jenny), Margaret (Jason) Becquart, and Sarah (James) Hatchett; great-grandchildren, Lilly Becquart and Johanna Hatchett; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. To Roland's family and friends, I am so sorry for your loss. Death is something that effects all of us. However I find the Bible's promises to be very comforting. Our Loving Creator Jehovah God, gives us a wonderful hope namely the prospect of living in a paradise earth in peace and happiness in the very near future and SEEING the resurrection of our dead loved ones. Please read these precious promises in your copy of the Holy Bible (Luke 23:43;Acts 24:15;Revelation 21:3,4) May you find comfort in God's promises as I have, and look forward to a time when we will never have to be separated from our loved ones again! Rest assured that Our Loving Heavenly Father will do ALL that He has promised. He will not fail us, because He cannot lie (1Peter 5:7;Titus 1:2. Again my deepest sympathy to you.
