Obituary
MCFARLAND-Patricia J. Krueger, age 70, of McFarland, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2011, at HospiceCare in Fitchburg. Pat was born on Nov. 14, 1940, in Madison, the daughter of Frank and Margaret (Voges) Lawrence. She was a 1959 graduate of Monona Grove High School. Pat married Paul Krueger on March 30, 1961, in Dubuque, Iowa. She is survived by her husband, Paul; daughter, Pam Krueger; daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Larry Epstein (though Larry was never considered an "in-law"); two grandsons, Kyle Koch and Zachary Epstein; sister, Gerrie (Bruce) Scoville; three godchildren, Barbara Scoville, Katie Olson, and Kern Lunde; mother-in-law; two sisters-in-law and their husbands; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Winch in 2006; step-father, George Gross in 2007; her mother in 2010; and her brother, George Gross Jr. in 2010. At Pats request, there will be no funeral or memorial services. A private family burial is planned. A special thank you to Dr. Hegeman; nurse, Sandy; and appointment scheduler, Kim.
You can shed tears that she is gone, or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that she will come back, or you can open your eyes and see all that she has left. Your heart can be empty because you cant see her, or you can be full of the love that you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember her and only that she is gone or you can cherish her memory and let live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back, or you can do what she would want; smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

To Patricia's family and friends, may I offer my sincere condolences. Death is something that effects all of us. However I find the Bible's promises to be very comforting. Our Loving Creator, gives us a wonderful hope namely the prospect of living in a paradise earth in peace and happiness in the very near future and seeing the resurrection of our dead loved ones. Please read these precious promises in your copy of the Holy Bible (Luke 23:43;Acts 24:15;Revelation 21:3,4) May you find comfort in God's promises as I have, and look forward to a time when we will never have to be separated from our loved ones again! Rest assured that, Our Heavenly Father Jehovah God will do ALL that he has promised. He will not fail us, because He loves us and He cannot lie (1Peter 5:7;Titus 1:2) Again my deepest sympathy to you.
