MADISON- Glenn E. McCray, age 82, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2011. He was born on April 29, 1928, in Cissna Park, Ill., the son of Earl and Alta (Kimble) McCray. Glenn married Doris Lippe on July 30, 1949 in Milford, Ill. He was a bookkeeper, primarily in the auto industry. Glenn was active in Nazarene and United Brethren Churches. He was an avid Cubs fan. Glenn is survived by his sons, Larry (Linda) and Randy; five grandchildren, Shawn (Theresa), Heather, Eric, Jason and Brian; great-grandson, Ethan; sister, Avis McCray; and brother, Lloyd (Wilma) McCray. He was preceded in death by his wife; and brother, Floyd. Funeral services will be held at CROSSPOINT CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE, 5011 Commercial Ave., Madison, at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, with the Rev. Sam Starnes presiding. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Monday, April 25, 2011.
