Mary Adrian

Adrian, Mary T.MADISON-Mary T. Adrian, age 81, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Saturday, April, 16, 2011. She was born on May 7, 1929, to Steve and Anna (Plein) Gorman. Mary grew up in Madison in a house filled with love and laughter. Although they had very little, they gave to anyone in need. Oh the stories they can tell! She married Richard Adrian on Aug. 8, 1953, in Madison. They later moved to Monona. Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always put her family first. Her smile and laughter were infectious. She loved music, animals, reading and children. Mary is survived by her husband, Richard; son, Jeff (Susan); daughters, Jayne (Joe) Phillips, and Jan (Tim Johnson); sisters, Rita Peck and Kaye Ramponi; seven grandchildren, Jason, Michael, Katy, Jacob, Laura, Ben and Jonathan; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Joseph; and brothers, Joe, Bob, Francis and Pat. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5101 Schofield St., Monona, at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, with Father Bart Timmerman presiding. Burial will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Wisconsin. The family wishes to thank Heritage Monona, the staff at St. Mary's ER, NSICU, and 8 SW for their compassion and extraordinary care. We love you Mom.
