I worked with Roger back in the mid 1970's at the Bruce Company and he was by far one of my favorite 'bosses'. So sad to hear of the loss. He certainly was a wonderful person.

I realize you don't know me but I am neighbors to your uncle and aunt, Tom and Ellen. Also close friend of Roger's card playing buddy, Inice Heintz. I met Roger at Bruce's and so admired his work. Christmas decorations have never been the same there since he retired. He has long been missed by customers. So sorry for your loss.

Uncle Roger will be truly missed by anybody that ever knew him. He was a great story teller that kept us entertained over the years. A trip to visit Roger was always enjoyable and you left hurting from laughing so hard. You always felt good by just being around him. We all mourn losing him now, but what we are all left with, are the countless cherished memories of our times with him and that is a timeless gift from this most beloved man. Thanks and RIP Uncle Roger.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I will miss my neighbor, his stories, his wit - I usually only got to talk with Roger when spring arrived and we got out in the yard to clean up from the winter - he always had good ideas for me and I admired his beautiful little "english garden". I'll still always look at the back window to see him reading the newspaper at the table really early every morning -with their cat right there helping him- and know he is at peace. Take care

Troy and Tricia, so sorry to hear of your dad's death. Don't know if you remember us, but we lived next door to you on Spring Grove Court. You and our children, Patrick and Sean used to play together. We spent many an evening playing cards with your parents. Always saw your dad at Christmas at Bruce's. We missed him after he retired. Our sympathies to you and your family. Lynne and Mike
