Obituary
MADISON- Patrick E. Wall, age 78, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. He was born on Dec. 31, 1932, in Madison, the son of Harold and Ione (Goodchild) Wall. Patrick graduated from West High School with the class of 1951. He was a second generation owner and operator of the family business Wall Oil Company for many years. Upon retirement in 1992, he moved to Tomahawk to build his retirement home where he enjoyed the outdoors and nature. Pat was a former member of Madison Elks and Moose Lodge. He served with the 44th General Hospital Army Reserve Unit. Pat especially enjoyed time with his grandchildren. He never missed a Badger or Packer game, where he enjoyed tailgating with friends. Pat was a skilled craftsman who loved to work on any projects that came his way. Patrick is survived by his former wife and friend, Donna (Skip) Peterson; sons, Steve (Marj) Wall of McFarland, Dave Wall of Madison and Bob (Julie) Wall of Madison; five grandchildren, Jeremy and Justin Wall, Liz and Katie Wall and Chase Wall. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Wall. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2011 and also from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday. A special thank you to Belmont Nursing Home for their dedicated and compassionate care and HospiceCare for their support during Pats final days.
Cemetery:
Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation:
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2011 and also from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday.
Service:
Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2011.
