Richard William Tonn

I am proud and privileged to have known Rich. I remember that he could be kind and generous, and I loved to getting talking about something he felt strongly about. Although I thanked him once, I'd like to offer it again: Rich, thank you. Thank you for all that you gave to me by serving our country. My guess is that you sacrificed more than you could have imagined. I also want to thank you for being a father-figure in Nick's life during a time when I, his actual father, was not around very much. I know how much he loved and looked-up to you, and I was happy he had your strength and knowledge to rely on. For this, and many other reasons, you are loved and missed. Sincerely, Scott

I am sorry I can't make the memorial service. In my work with the State Public Defender, I had many opportunities to work with Deputy Tonn. He was always very caring and helpful, and made my job easier. I really appreciated him.

enjoyed watching badger & packer football games with rich the past few years. also cutting wood with rich was a very special time as i learned alot from him. will miss him bunches. larry
