Claudia Blix Brockman,

Claudia (Paszak)Brockman died peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 23rd in Skaalen Home. Claudia was born on November 14, 1943 in Toledo, OH., the only child of Florence and Chester Gorkoski. In 1980 Claudia was adopted by her step-father, Joseph Paszak of Duluth, MN. Claudia was preceded in death by her parents and her step-brother Kevin Gorkoski. Claudia spent her life devoted to her family. Survivors include her children Carrie Weaver of Fitchburg, Joe (Cindy Biesenthal) and Tom of Madison and two grand-daughters, Kaitlan Weaver and Sama Shannag. Also, a step-mother Jo Ann Gorkoski , half-sister, Susi (Preston) White and Brian, all of Ohio. The family would like to thank the staff of Skaalen Home for their friendship and compassionate care for Claudia during the last 12 years. A private service will be held for the family.
