Jeffrey Maly

Maly, Jeffrey "Jeff"BROOKLYN - Jeffrey "Jeff" Maly, age 46, of Brooklyn, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 27, 2011, at his home. He was born on May 24, 1964, the son of Robert and Donna (Riddle) Maly in Santa Maria, Calif. Jeff graduated from LaFollette High School in 1983,then attended MATC and received an associates degree. Jeff and Norma (Long) have been together since 1986, and were united in marriage on Oct. 8, 1994. Jeff was devoted to his career in the automotive industry for more than 27 years. He was an avid hunter, enjoying turkey, deer and bear hunting. Jeff always looked forward to hunting on "the farm" of Larry and Judy Sebranek. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, four-wheeling, or simply being outdoors. Jeff loved his dogs and cats, Sophie, Hannah, Jett, Sandy, Lilly, Chevy, Callie, Leo, Ace and Tiny Tina. Jeff is survived by his wife, Norma; parents, Robert "Bob" and Donna Maly of Beaver Dam/New Lisbon; sister, Jennifer Heilman of Wausau; mother-in-law, Beatrice "Bea" Long of McFarland; sister-in-law, Sandra Long of Fitchburg; brother-in-law, Alan (Julie) Long of Lodi; two nieces, Madison Kandutsch and Haley Matson; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald and Hazel Riddle and Aloysius and Mildred Maly. A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 3:30 p.m., on Friday, March 4, 2011. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jeff's memory to Evansville Veterinary Services, 18 Maple St., Evansville, WI 53536.
