Bordson, Aurelia M.
MADISON-Aurelia M. Bordson, age 95, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011 at Harmony Living Center. She was born on December 21, 1915, in Martinsville, the daughter of Joseph and Katherine (Annen) Nonn. She married Martin C. Bordson on June 2, 1942. She was a longtime member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. Aurelia is survived by her children, Robert (Judith) Bordson of McFarland, Jerald Bordson of Marshall, Ronald (Judy) Bordson of Deerfield, Jeanine (Randy) Arnett of Hillsboro, Martin (Karen) Bordson of Gladstone, Mo.; grandchildren, Lynn Bordson Shere, Jenny Bordson-Hendricks, Brandon Arnett, Martin C. Bordson, Melissa Bordson; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Reuben Nonn of Harmony Grove, Nora (Nonn) Kraby of Stoughton, Dean Nonn of Oregon; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Martin; grandchildren, Michael Bordson, Marcie Bordson Minnemaier, Bryan Arnett; brother, Harold Nonn; sister, Vera (Nonn) Powell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2450 Atwood Avenue, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, with Father Francis Schmidt presiding. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011 and at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday. Memorials may be made to HospiceCare, Inc. The family wishes to thank the staff of HospiceCare and Harmony Living Center for all of their loving care.
