Ronald A. Dahl

MADISON- Ronald Ron Dahl age 61,passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 18, 2011. He was born on Jan. 15, 1950, the son of John and Elma (Niemi) Dahl. Ron was a lifelong Madison resident. As a child, he truly enjoyed his years in 4-H. Ron graduated from Madison East High School in 1968. He loved country western music, horses and M&Ms. Ron will be remembered as a story teller and for his mischievous humor. He is survived by his special friend and caretaker, Sandy Jacobs; brothers and sisters, Gordon (Ann) Dahl, Eunice (Don) Zimmerman, Lawrence (Dianne) Dahl and Pauline (John) Wardle; and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Norman. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday.
