Obituary
FITCHBURG- Roy Henry Weed, born Nov. 23, 1951, was taken from Susan (Bunda) Weed, his wife and best friend on Monday, Jan. 24, 2011. Beloved son of Anna and the late Martin Weed. Loving father of Michelle, James (Sarah), Corey, Shannon (fianc Seth Bamesberger), Amanda and Amy Weed. Leaves behind the children of his heart, his stepchildren, Jared Wold, Julia (Jon) Pearson and Victoria (fianc Matt Lauersdorf) Wold. Grandfather to Anastasia, Isaac, Faith, Kyrie, Rachel, Olivia and his beloved Trinity. Devoted brother of Tom (Judy) Weed, Helen (Rick) Stanley and Carol (Jim) Peterson. Brother-in-law to Anita (Rich) Grandpre, Jenny, Karen, Milo (Stephanie Sturm) Bunda, Mary (Jay) Schultz and Eileen (Scott) Brown. Also survived by many other loving family, including those in Germany. Preceded in death by his father; parents-in-law, William and Jean Bunda; sister-in-law, Michelle Bunda; brother-in-law, Paul Bunda; and step-daughter, Lara Wold. Funeral services will be held at OUR REDEEMER LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1701 McKenna Boulevard, Madison, at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011. Visitation will be at the church from 3 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday. Funeral services will also be held at PINELAWN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 10700 West Capital Drive, Milwaukee, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 28, 2011. Visitation will be held at the chapel from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be held at Pinelawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
