I met Doris several years ago at a golf tournamnet we were playing in. Our handicaps were similar so we were paired up frequently in leagues and tournaments and became friends. I haven't seen her for a couple of years due to a job change for me and a less flexible schedule to golf. She was a lovely woman and I am so glad to call her my friend. I am deeply saddened that her cancer came back to take her. When we first met, she shared with me her pancretic cancer battle. I know it well as I lost my Mom and Uncle to this horrible disease. I was amazed she had beaten it at the time knowing the severity of the cancer.
I will remember my golf friend wth fond thoughts and as a fun golf partner. I send my deepest sympathy to your entire family.
