Pearl E. Kleinfeldt

MADISON - Pearl E. Kleinfeldt, age 86, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, at Meriter Hospital. She was born on May 3, 1924, in Madison, the daughter of Martin and Mary (Nelson) Bailey. She married Stanley Kleinfeldt on May 20, 1955, in Madison. Pearl was a loving mother to five children. She enjoyed bingo and Ho Chunk. Pearl is survived by her daughters, Linda (Sonny) Bender of Mesa, Ariz., Gail (Rod) Handel of Madison, Jeanne (Bob) Gucwa of Buffalo, N.Y., Marilyn (John) Murphy of Cleveland, Tenn., and Kathy (Kenny) Sowder of Anderson, S.C.; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Irene Roberts of Sacramento, Calif.; a brother, Rodney (Barbara) Bailey of Madison; and also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley; sisters, Doris, Marian, Agnes and Stella; and brothers, George, Melvin and Edward. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, Feb 2, 2011, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
