Catherine A Weber,

MADISON- Catherine A. Weber, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011. She was born on Oct. 1, 1921, in Columbus, the daughter of Alexander & Muriel (Ryder) Schey. Catherine worked for the Department of Public Instruction for more than 30 years. After retirement, she moved up to the Minocqua area. Catherine enjoyed playing solitaire, going out to eat, cooking and baking. She is survived by her son, Eric; daughters, Suzanne (John) Grosse and Maureen Kingsley; five grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Jerome Schey; aunt, Alice Meyers; and many nieces and nephews. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Everett; and brother, Eugene. Memorial services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011, with Father Kent Schmitt presiding. Burial will be held at St. Jeromes Cemetery, in Columbus at a later date. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday.
