Karla Kay Smith

Smith, Karla Kay MADISON-Karla Kay Smith, age 62, of Madison passed away on Monday, Jan. 24, 2011. She was born on January 1, 1949, the daughter of Leslie and Marie (Stensberg) Smith. Karla was always willing to volunteer her time and make others happy. She loved her family and was so proud of her granddaughter, Mya. Karla is survived by her son, Rob (Amy) Woods; granddaughter, Mya Woods; sister, Deann (Merlin) David; nephews, Todd and Gary David; niece, Peggy Beer; and faithful companion, Trooper. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, on Friday, Jan. 28, 2011 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. A special thank you to all of those with Home Health United who helped Karla with her care.
