Wyngaard, Molly PatriciaMADISON-Molly Patricia Wyngaard, age 44, of Madison passed away on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011 as the result of an extended illness. Molly was born on July 6, 1966 in Madison, the daughter of Attorney Michael J. and Linda Casey Wyngaard. Molly was proud of her talents in ballet and piano and she loved antiques. She was a member of the Children's Folk Group at St. Francis Xavier Church and was a Spelling Bee champion. Molly graduated from Edgewood High School in 1984 (and was a member of the track team) and attended Madison Area Technical College. She was a voracious, lifelong reader who had a special gift of working with the elderly and in her role of nursing assistant she provided comfort to many. Molly is survived by her adored children of whom she was so proud, Elise (Thomas Eslinger), Eric Wyngaard, Michael and Logan Schulenberg; their father Steven Schulenberg; her beloved mother, Linda Casey Wyngaard; her siblings, Jane Wyngaard, Kate Wyngaard-Niccum (Darrick), John Wyngaard and Michael C. (Sarah) Wyngaard; nieces and nephews Brighid, Grace, Shea, Jack and Lilly Kate. Molly was preceded in death by her father, Michael J. Wyngaard; grandparents, Joseph and Irma Casey, John and Catherine Wyngaard; uncle, Timothy Wyngaard; and cousin, Betsy Wyngaard. A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011, with Father Gerard Healy presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday. Inurnment will be held at a later date. The family wishes to acknowledge the wonderful care and professionalism of Aishling, Dr. Sharp and the staff of Wingra Clinic. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an education fund for Molly's children, care of Linda C. Wyngaard. "In the midst of winter...there is an invincible summer." (Careb).
