Obituary

MIDDLETON- Spencer Doyle Lynch, age 20, has gone to be with his Savior, Our Lord, on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, due to injuries he sustained in a car accident in Burlington, Vermont. He was born on May 16, 1990, in LaCrosse, Wis., to John F. and Laurie (Doyle) Lynch. Spencer graduated in 2009 from Middleton High School in Middleton, Wis. He was currently pursing a Culinary Arts Degree. Spencer was described by family and friends as a person who was down to earth and always made others feel at ease. He had an infectious laugh and a smile that would light up a room. Spencer had a huge heart and was a kind and gentle person who was not judgmental of others. He was giving of his time as a volunteer at the Vermont Food Bank and DNR. Spencer was an accomplished artist, guitar player and he loved the outdoors for hiking and snowboarding. He was looking forward to his future goals and giving Iron Chef a run for their money. An avid Badger fan, he will now have the best seat in the house for the upcoming Rose Bowl game. Spencer was a universal organ donor- it is comforting to know his death brought life to others- what an amazing gift he gave to so many. His heart is still beating and giving another family so much joy. Spencer will be missed by his loving family, parents, John F. and Laurie (Doyle) Lynch; brothers, Chase and Clayton of Middleton; grandparents, Gene and Sandra Doyle of Cedar Falls, Iowa; and many, many aunts, uncles and cousins, Mike and Mary Pat (Lynch) Ament family, Dan and Ann (Lynch) Hoffman family, Richard Lynch family, Dennis and Valerie (Spencer) Lynch family, Pat and Susan (Lynch) Strub family, Steve and Lynn (Lynch) Graves family, Kevin and Joann (Rodriquez) Lynch family, Patrick and Dawn (Carlson) Lynch family, William Lynch family, Paul and Jayne (Jochum) Lynch family, Chris and Jackie (Mauer) Doyle family, Shawn and Shelly (Doyle) Meighan family, Mike and Denise (Bergeson) Doyle family, Keith and Tracey (Doyle) Carmen family, Pat and Tami (Clark) Doyle family, and Matt and Lisa (Wang) Doyle family. He will also be missed by the many friends that respected and trusted him, turned to him in times of need, laughed with him and loved him. Spencer was preceded in death by grandparents Dick (Looper) and Jeanette Lynch; uncle, Michael Matthew Lynch; and aunt, Sheila Ann (Moldt) Lynch. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7450 University Ave., Middleton, at 12 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL HOME, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 10, 2010. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Spencer Lynch Memorial Fund. The family will decide on a specific benefactor at a later date.
