MIDDLETON/MADISON - LUCHTERHAND, ELLEN E.Ellen E. Luchterhand, age 92, passed away on Thurs., Dec. 30, 2010 at Kindred Hearts Assisted Living. She was born on Sept. 29, 1918 in Chilton, the daughter of Walter and Elsie (Spettle) Voigt. Today we say goodbye to one of earths angels who touched the lives of so many through her hospitality, warm encouragement, love and tenderness, esteeming others higher than herself. She appreciated beautiful surroundings of flowers of all kinds, graciously providing them for church and making the world a better place. Ellen loved having visitors and her door was always open. She always had a sparkle in her eye and a smile on her face.Ellen is survived by her daughter Charlene Anderson;two grandchildren,Michelle McLeod, and Mark (Diana) Skare;eight great grandchildren,Amanda Vesperman, Bridget, Brent, Dana and Mariana Skare, Kelsey (LeRoy) Berndt, and Abbie and Molly McLeod;three great great grandchildren; and a brother Jack Voigt.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clarence C.K., daughter Debra Lee Luchterhand, and her son-in-law Morris Anderson.Funeral services will be held on Tues., Jan. 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive with Chaplain Kitty OMeara presiding. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Tues. at 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
