MIDDLETON-Alice Marie Maly, age 77, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2010. She was born on March 16, 1933 in Verona, the daughter of Louis and Agnes (Ripp) Hoffman. Alice graduated from Edgewood High School in 1951. She was united in marriage to Joseph J. Maly on June 2, 1952 in Verona. Alice worked for the University of Wisconsin for over 26 years. She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church. Alice had a variety of interests including belonging to an exercise class for 29 years, an organ music group, gardening, and doll collecting but she truly treasured most the time she spent with her family especially her grandchildren. Alice is survived by her husband Joseph Maly; her children, Edwin (Lorraine) Maly, Ellen Maly (Mark Sheeran) and Gerald (Margaret) Maly; six grandchildren, Erik (Ande Jones), Janelle, Ehren, Robin (Jeremy Graves), Tina and Sara, a sister, Virginia (Ed) Kenney and a brother Daniel (Linda) Hoffman. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Richard, Arthur and Norman Hoffman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARD'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7450 University Ave., Middleton at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 17, 2010 with Monsignor Douglas Dushack presiding. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Middleton. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton and also on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.MIDDLETON-Alice Marie Maly, age 77, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2010.
