Rheinold D. Watenpuhl

MADISON- Rheinold D. Watenpuhl, age 72, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010 at HospiceCare Inc. He was born on Dec. 30, 1937 in Black River Falls. Rheinold married Susan Bladine on March 2, 1970. He worked for 45 years at Meriter Park Hospital before retiring in 2000. Rheinold enjoyed gardening, riding his bike and just being outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Susan; children, Ryan Watenpuhl, Ivan Watenpuhl, Teresa Watenpuhl and Tanya (Martin) Strom; two grandchildren, Gedeon and Josiah Strom; sister, Delores Turville; and brother, Robert Watenpuhl. Rheinold was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carol. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday. Cemetery: Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
