Charlcie H Poth

MADISON - Charlcie Helen Poth, age 90, passed away peacefully on Christmas morning, Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010. She was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., on Nov. 3, 1920, to William and Viola (Webb) ODell. Charlcie was united in marriage to Glenn E. Poth on March 17, 1956, in Chattanooga, Tenn. They moved to Madison in 1961 when Glenn was stationed in Madison. She worked for many years at the Bank of Madison and retired from M & I Bank. Charlcie is survived by a sister, Mary Buchanan of Dublin, Ga.; and nephews, Robert (Karen) Thompson and Billy (Layla) Thompson. She is further survived by Glenn and "Bucky" Thompson, two special great-nephews. Along with her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn; brother, William; and brother-in-law, Marshall. Charlcie will be greatly missed by very special friends, Sandy and Butch Hebgen and their family, Chai and Debbie Kookasemkit and their family, and Elaine Westergaard and her family. Memorial services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Cemetery: Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
