Pearl Wallace

Wallace, Pearl S. MADISON/BARABOO-Pearl S. Wallace, age 89, died on Monday, Dec. 13, 2010 at Oak Park Place Assisted Living in Baraboo. Pearl was born in Morrisonville, Wis., on Nov. 12, 1921, to Adolph and Petra (Lee) Erickson. She graduated from DeForest High School. Pearl married Edward A. Wallace in 1943, in Delray Beach, Fla., where he was stationed with the U. S. Army Air Corps. After the war, they made their home in Madison, where she was a faithful member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and the Madison's Women's Golf League. Pearl also enjoyed traveling, She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Edward; daughter, Patricia (Dr. Monte) McFadden of Baraboo; son, William (Joyce) of Madison; granddaughter, Kara (David) Klubertanz; two great-grandsons, Jakob and Kaden Klubertanz of Cross Plains; sister, Helen Struckmeyer of Madison; and many cousins, nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mable Sauk; brother, Ardell Erickson; and son, Gerald E. Wallace. Funeral services will be held at HOLY CROSS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2670 Milwaukee Street, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, with the Rev. Mark Bartels presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Norway Grove Cemetery.
