Sincere Sympathy at the loss of Ed. I remember when Ed & Jean lived in Blanchardville and we visited with them at Cap's Tap. We also enjoyed their wonderful children very much at that time and also as they settled in their own communities. I am thinking of everyone at this sad time. JoAnn

Dear Darnell family,
I am so sorry for Ed's passing.
He was a very special man. He was so lucky to have you and we were all lucky to have such a wonderful person touch our lives.
Of all the crazy things Ed said to me in the ICU was that he was worried about ME. Worried about me driving in the fog, and worried about me caring too much.
I cared for Ed like he was my Grandfather. He holds a special place in my heart, and I wish I could have done more for him.
I hope he finds peace. I hope your family finds peace and comfort in the love Ed held for you all. He was so proud of all of you.
Jean... he worried so much for you...he loves you so much.
Hold strong to that love. It is a powerful protector.
My thoughts and tears are for your family.
Andrea (weekend day ICU RN...farm girl with 2 boys)
