Martha waitressed at many Rennebohm\'s Restaurants and the Colonial Inn while raising three daughters. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and singing in the choirs at Trinity Lutheran and St. Stephen\'s churches. She had a green thumb and took pride in her plants inside and out. She especially loved decorating their home for Christmas. In 1990, they retired in Stoughton where Martha continued to waitress at the Norse Chalet. After Andy passed away, she moved to Capitol Lakes Retirement to be closer to her daughters. Martha is survived by her daughters, Shirley Worl, Pat (Dave) Carlson, and Nancy Best; two grandchildren, Tammy Worl and Dustin Best; sister, Janet (Layne) Warren;and many nieces and nephews. Dear Shirley, Pat and Nancy:
I was so sorry to hear the sad news of your Mom's passing. I know from experience how difficult this loss will be for you, but I also know that wonderful memories will eventually help displace the sorrow you're all feeling now.
The happy memories I have of spending time with you and your folks all those years past, and particularly remembering your Mom's laugh and "up" attitude, are precious to me.
Please know you and the rest of the family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love, Jan

Shirley, Pat and Nancy, so sorry to hear of your loss. The obituary was very endearing. It is a difficult time to go through, but I now you'll remember special things about your mom the same way we do about Mom (Joan). I have a christmas cactus in my office that reminds me of her. I sure miss the girls' get togethers!
