Gerald Schott

DEFOREST-Gerald "Jerry" Schott, age 80, of DeForest, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, at UW Hospital. He was born on Oct. 25, 1930, in Madison, the son of Rudolph and Louise (Mueller) Schott. Jerry served his country in the U. S. Navy from 1948 until 1953. He married Bonnie Ferguson on Oct. 7, 1957, in Sun Prairie. Jerry worked for Briggs Transportation and ITT Continental until his retirement in 1990. He was a Brewers and Packers fan, enjoyed ice fishing and hunting, helping others, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Jerry is survived by his wife, Bonnie of DeForest; children, Daniel Remick, Robert Remick, Pam (William) Schuster, Cheryl (Larry) Heiman, Michael Schott, and Pat (Dawn) Schott; grandchildren, Kari (Jason) Hack, Misty Schuster (fianc, Chad), Casey (Joell) Heiman, and Adam, Audra and Cody Schott; great-granddaughter, Brooke Hack; and sister, Jane Hron.He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Richard Schott. Private services will be held. Cemetery: Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
