Victor Helmut Jeschke

OREGON- Victor H. Jeschke, age 51, of Oregon, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010 at home from a heart condition. He was born on Aug. 10, 1959, in Madison, the son of Helmut and Ruth (Buol) Jeschke. Victor graduated from Oregon High School in 1977. He was a lifelong farmer on the family farm. Victor was a hard worker and took pride in caring for the equpiment, land and animals. He enjoyed snowmobiling and belonged to the Brooklyn Sno Hornets. Victor had a big heart and was always ready to help others. He volunteered, helping the Brooklyn EMS for the Labor Day Celebration. Victor is survived by his parents, Helmut and Ruth of Oregon; a sister, Diane (Ben) England of Evansville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Funeral services will be held at ST. JOHNS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 625 E. Netherwood, Oregon, at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 4, 2010, with the Rev. Paul Markquart presiding. Burial will be at Prairie Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Monday. Cemetery: Burial will be at Prairie Mound Cemetery.
