Obituary

MADISON - Albert J. Kniebuehler, age 82, passed away on Friday, Oct. 1, 2010. He was born on April 13, 1928, in Waunakee. Albert married June Floeter in 1952, and together they were blessed with two sons. He was a truck driver his whole life. For more than 15 years, he owned his own truck, then began working for Neuendorf Trucking, retiring in 1989. Albert was proud to conquer 48 of our 50 states, during his lifetime in the trucking industry. He had an excellent knowledge of our nations roadways. Albert is survived by his sons, Robert Kniebuehler (Cindy Becker) and Michael (Marsha) Kniebuehler; and granddaughter, Jennifer McCord of Chicago, Ill. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gus and Billie Crandall; and his wife. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 4, 2010. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens, with military rights being conducted. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from noon until the time of the service on Monday.
