Obituary

MADISON-Doth Mao, age 53, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, at St. Marys Hospital, in Madison. He was born on Nov. 8, 1956, in Takoe City, Cambodia, Doth and his family fled the war in his home country of Cambodia to live for a short while in a refugee camp in Thailand before a generous sponsor helped them on their way to the United States. Doth and his family made their way to Chicago where they stayed for a short while before making a connection with family in Philadelphia, Pa., where he spent a good deal of time in the company of friends and family. Doth finally settled in Madison at the request of his sister who loved him dearly. Doth would pride himself on his "handyman" abilities as he was known for his crafts and desire to fix anything he could get his hands on. He is survived by his lifelong wife, Onn; daughters, Savann, Savoeun, Savoeuth, Salt, and Sawe; son, Savorn; sister, Meng mom; many grandsons and granddaughters; and many, many wonderful friends. A celebration of life will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL HOME, 1358 Hwy 51, Stoughton, from 1 until 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 8, 2010. Buddhist monks from the Oregon Temple will be performing a ceremony prior to cremation. Those we love dont go away, they walk beside us everyday, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear. Service: A celebration of life will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL HOME, 1358 Hwy 51, Stoughton, from 1 until 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 8, 2010.

I would like to start off by saying that Im deeply sorry about the loss of your father, brother, husband and friend. Sorry I was not able to attend but you guys are in my heart always and forever.
