West, Lois R.
COTTAGE GROVE/DEERFIELD-Lois R. West, age 91, of Deerfield, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010. She was born on December 14, 1918 in Tyler, Minn., the daughter of the late Elmer and Mary Ann (Bigham) Telstad. Lois married Sanford C. West on Dec. 24, 1936 in Madison. Lois' greatest joy was spending time with her family and caring for them. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Marshall. Survivors include her three daughters, Darlene (Robert) Bartz of Waterloo, Barb (Dick) Hatton of Deerfield, Sandy O'Neill of Beverly Hills, Calif.; her son, Sanford (Vicki) West of Deerfield; grandchildren, Gary Poley, James Poley, James Bartz, Barbie Poley, Beth Bartz, David Poley, Mike West, Debbie Wright, Jeff West, Erin O'Neill, Missy Feiler, Robert O'Neill; several great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; infant son, Marvin; grandson, LTC Paul Bartz; great-granddaughter, Amber Poley. Funeral services will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 605 Madison Street, Marshall, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, with Pastor Paul G. Anderson presiding. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, South Central Wisconsin Chapter, 517 N. Segoe Rd., #301, Madison, Wisconsin 53705. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff at the Sun Prairie Health Care Center for the excellent care they provided during her various stages of Alzheimer's. \r\n

Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
