Jean G. Slick,

MADISON - Jean G. Slick, age 85, of Madison, passed away on Monday, Sept. 27, 2010, in Madison. She was born on March 9, 1925, in Escanaba, Mich., the daughter of Edwin and Gladys Peterson. Jean worked for the Madison School District and enjoyed her part-time work at East Madison YMCA. She loved spending time in her garden, especially tending to her roses. She is survived by her son, Donald (Lisa) Slick of Madison; granddaughter, Amanda Slick; and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK, 401 Femrite Drive, Monona, at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010.
